Review: Prince Incognito by Rachelle McCalla

Prince Incognito by Rachelle McCalla
Love Inspired Suspense / June 2012

About the book:

A PRINCE WITH NO MEMORY

Injured in an attack on the royal motorcade and missing his memory, Alec has one person he can trust. Lillian Bardici, the woman who rescued him. Lily has a soft heart for any hurt creature, but her family has a bitter grudge against Lydia's ruling family-Alec's family. For once his memory returns, Alec knows the truth. He is Prince Alexander, and his family is in danger. All he wants is to find and help them...but now that Alec's found his purpose, will he lose Lily, who's under orders by her family to betray him?

Reclaiming the Crown: Born to rule with faith, honor...and love.

My thoughts:

Prince Incognito is the third book in Rachelle McCalla's Reclaiming the Crown series and probably my favorite (and that is saying something considering I loved both Princess in Peril and Protecting the Princess)!

I loved reading Alec's story and finding out what happened to him after the royal motorcade was attacked. His story was particularly interesting to me because Alec temporarily lost his personal memories after the attack. Plus, Lily (the woman who rescued him) is also the niece of the man who's trying to capture him!

From the beginning of Prince Incognito until the end, I completely love it! Alec is a new favorite character of mine from this series. I loved how protective, caring, and sweet he was.

I will say, the tiny twist at the end I didn't expect. (I won't say what it was, just that it was something Lily found troubling).

While I think you could read Prince Incognito by itself, the first two books are great, so it'd probably be nicer to read them in order.

Overall, I definitely recommend this for fans of suspense/romance books. This is one of my favorite Love Inspired Suspense books so far! I am very much looking forward to the next book in the Reclaiming the Crown series, The Missing Monarch, releasing this coming September.

*I received this book for free from the author for my review. I was not required to give a positive review, only my honest opinion - which I've done. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.*

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
