Weekend Wrap-up is where I share what I read this past week, am currently reading, and hope to read this coming week, and (when applicable) the current giveaways/giveaway winners. Occasionally I'll post some other stuff as well.

Feel free to join along and post your own Weekend Wrap-up on your blog/site (if you do, please leave the link in a comment so I can stop by) or, in a comment, share what you've accomplished (reading-wise) this past week. :)

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon

The Bout of Books read-a-thon ended last Sunday and I only ended up reading around 770 pages. I didn't complete my goal (2,000 pages), but I did end up reading 3 books! :)

I started feeling sick the last few days of the read-a-thon, so I wasn't able to read as much as I'd have liked to. Oh well, hoping to do better next time! :)

There you have it, that is what I accomplished (reading-wise) this week. What about you?

  1. I'm hoping to read Love's Reckoning next week too. I've been looking forward to this for a LONG time!

    1. Me too! The cover is great and I loved The Colonel's Lady (which is the only book I've read of hers so far), so I am REALLY excited to read it. :)

  2. A Passion Most Pure is on my list to read this week also. I went and bought the other 2 books in the series also just to have them ready to read. I'll do my weekend report tomorrow. I'm almost finished with a book I want to add to the two that I read this week. Did you ever say how many you finished reading for your read-a-thon?

    1. I did, on Facebook earlier and just now on this post. I finished three books (Enemies of the Cross by Greg Mitchell, Short-Straw Bride by Karen Witemeyer, and Rearview by Mike Dellosso) for a total of around 770 pages read. Not great, but not too bad considering I didn't read the last few days of the read-a-thon because I felt sick. :(

Yeah, I decided to read A Passion Most Pure in August and I'm running out of time! LOL! Been busy reading review books for the challenge.... but that is going to change this week (hopefully) and I'll get it read. :)

  3. I can't wait to get my hands on Love's Reckoning! The cover is so beautiful and I've heard really good things about it. I've never read anything by Laura although I'm thinking about digging The Colonel's Lady out of my massive TBR pile.

I really loved A Passion Most Pure! I hope you like it as much as I did! I've been wanting to start Enemies of the Cross too but I'm having a hard time finding a copy of the first book. Did you enjoy Enemies?

    1. You should definitely read "The Colonel's Lady" soon - I loved that book!

I'm hoping I love "A Passion Most Pure", too - I've heard great things from many people about that book. :)

I liked "Enemies of the Cross" and there were some twists that I didn't see coming after the ending to "The Strange Man". I plan on posting my review next week. :)

      Thanks for commenting! :)
