Interview & Giveaway! Jessica Nelson ~ Author of "Love On The Range"!!!

Today, we have with us Jessica Nelson! Her debut novel is Love on the Range and you'll have a chance to enter to win a copy (details below)!

Here is a link to where you can find her book and the book trailer:

Welcome to Christian Bookshelf Reviews, Jessica! Will you tell us a little about yourself?

Hi Melanie. Thank you so much for having me! I'm a mom to three wonderful little boys who loves Starbucks and chocolate. :-)

What is Love on the Range about?

It's a historical romance featuring a perky socialite who is determined to find a notorious government agent who is equally determined to stay hidden.

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

I was always writing and never thought about labeling myself as a writer but when I started writing fiction toward the goal of being published, that's when I realized that I was indeed, a writer. :-)

What would you say is the best and/or worst part about being a writer?

The best and worst parts are the same, I think. When the writing flows, I feel awesome. When I'm procrastinating or the writing is hard, I feel grumpy. lol

What do you like to do when you're not writing?

I adore reading! I always have a book in hand. I also like taking the kids to the river near my house or watching movies.

What are three things you wouldn't want to do without (besides the Bible, food, and family)?

Hmmmm. Raspberry mochas, fiction and air conditioner (I live in Florida, lol).

Is there a place you’d like to visit, but haven’t yet?

There are thousands of amazing places I'd love to visit! Ireland, Italy, France, Australia...

Do you have a favorite song and/or movie?

My favorite movie is The Last of the Mohicans. I love music but don't have any favorites.

Do you have any favorite authors?

Like music, I love a good mix of authors and don't have any favorites. Some authors whose work I enjoy reading is Francine Rivers, Kristen Heitzmann, Jody Hedlund, Julie Lessman and many of my fellow Love Inspired authors too.

Do you have a favorite Bible verse?

Yep. I've always loved Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death."

Are you currently working on any new novels? If so, could you tell us a little about it?

I'm working on a book that features the secondary characters from Love On the Range. :) I thought Mary and Lou might need to get together and find love. And maybe a family too. :-) So I thrust a little girl into their unwilling care and I'm seeing where she takes them.

Thank you so much for being here! Where can we find you on the web?

I'm on facebook, twitter and I blog. You can find links to all the places I play by going to my website http://www.jessicanelson.net/ Thank you again for having me!
