"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event that spotlights upcoming releases that we're
eagerly anticipating.
This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:
Misery Loves Company by Rene Gutteridge
Tyndale House Publishers / ISBN# 978-1414349336
Expected Publication Date: August 2013
Find on: Amazon, Goodreads
About the book:
Don’t tell me it’s terrifying. Terrify me.
Filled with grief, Jules Belleno rarely leaves the house since her husband’s death while on duty as a police officer. Other than the reviews Jules writes on her blog, she has little contact with the outside world.
But one day when she ventures out to the local grocery store, Jules bumps into a fellow customer . . . and recognizes him as her favorite author, Patrick Reagan. Jules gushes and thoroughly embarrasses herself before Regan graciously talks with her.
And that’s the last thing she remembers—until she wakes up in a strange room with a splitting headache. She’s been kidnapped. And what she discovers will change everything she believed about her husband’s death . . . her career . . . and her faith.
Why I want to read this book:
First off, Rene Gutteridge is a favorite author of mine and, secondly, this book sound SO good...and kind of freaky! I definitely have to read it!

This is a book I am waiting on too. My book club loves Gutteridge and I think this one will be perfect for us.
ReplyDeleteMelanie, I was blessed to be able to review this book for Tyndale House and I loved it! You're going to love it! This was my first experience reading a book by Rene and it won't be my last. I'm looking forward to reading more by her. Since she is one of your favorites, do you have a suggestion as to what I should read next?

I'd say Possession or Listen - I loved both of those books. :) Thanks for commenting. :)
