Bout of Books 9.0 ~ Day 3 Challenge: Introduce Someone to Your Favorite Genre

Bout of Books
Hosted by Doing Dewey

For this challenge, pick a book or a few books that you think would make a great introduction to your genre of choice

I'm very eclectic, but my favorite genre is Thriller. I also love historical, Dystopian, and sci-fi novels. So I'm going to just recommend a book (or books) for each of those genres.

Thriller:

The Patrick Bowers Files by Steven James (The Pawn is $0.99 and The Rook, The Knight, The Bishop, and The Queen are on sale for $1.99 right now at Amazon Kindle!)

Historical:

Laura Frantz's books (that I've read - still need to read her debut novel, The Frontiersman's Daughter). :)

Dystopian:

Sci-Fi:

  1. I recommended the Patrick Bowers series too! :D

I still have yet to read any of Laura Frantz's books, but I'm hoping to get to Courting Morrow Little and Love's Reckoning soon! :D

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
