"Waiting On" Wednesday: Morning Glory by Amber Stokes

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event that spotlights upcoming releases that we're
eagerly anticipating.

 This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

Morning Glory by Amber Stokes
Expected Publication Date: Summer 2014
Find on: Goodreads

About the book:

The depths of fear. The dawning of hope.

Myghal's story continues...

Inspirational Historical Romance

Sequel to Bleeding Heart

Why I want to read this book:

I read Bleeding Heart (book two in this series) last year and recently finished Forget Me Not (book one, which just released). Both were great reads and I'm really excited to read Morning Glory!

What's your "Waiting On" Wednesday selection this week?

    2. I love him, too! :) #TeamMyghal Although working on Forget Me Not again reminded me of how special David is to me, too. :) Love them both!

  3. I'm kind of confused. Book 1 was released after book 2? Weird.
I don't know anything about this series, but I can tell you that I love the cover. It's super pretty!
    Thanks for sharing!

    1. Yes, I definitely went about the publishing thing a little differently! ;) Here's a post I wrote about self-publishing journey last year: Seasons of a Self-Publishing Journey. I also explain it in the author's note at the end of Forget Me Not. :) Basically, it goes along with my publisher name ("Seasons of a Story") in that Books 1 and 2 were in different seasons at different times. And while all the books in the series are interconnected, they can be enjoyed as stand-alones. :)

  4. I have Bleeding Heart on my Kindle, but should I buy Forget Me Not and read that one first?

    1. Hope you don't mind me jumping in to reply (I'd love Melanie's thoughts on this, too!), but it's totally up to you. :) If you'd prefer to read the books in chronological order, than Forget Me Not does come first. There are some twists and such that might be enjoyed best reading the books that way. At the same time, though, both books - while featuring some of the same secondary characters - are stand-alones. And it can be fun to learn some of the back story after the fact, adding more depth and "ah-ha" moments, perhaps. :)

Hope you enjoy them both either way you read them!

    2. I read Bleeding Heart first, but I probably would have preferred reading Forget Me Not and then BH (since once I finished FMN, I wanted to read BH again ;) ). As Amber said, it's really up to you, the books can be enjoyed out of order as well as chronologically. Hope you enjoy the book(s) when you read them! :)

    3. I'm considering doing a read-along later this spring for Bleeding Heart, gearing up for Morning Glory by catching everyone up again chronologically. Does that sound like something you'd be interested in? I appreciate your feedback and support! :)
