About the book:
The game is on.
FBI Special Agent Patrick
Bowers's cutting-edge skills are about to be pushed to the limit. When a
young woman is found brutally murdered in Washington DC, her killers
continue a spree of perfect crimes in the Northeast. But with nothing to
link them to each other, Agent Bowers faces his most difficult case
yet--even as his personal life begins to crumble around him.
The Bishop
is a gripping, adrenaline-laced story for readers who are tired of
timid thrillers. Strap on your seat belt and get ready for a wild ride.

My thoughts:
The Bishop was so creepy! The things the villains did were so horrible and disturbing, and definitely gave me chills! I loved how, like the other Patrick Bowers books, there were a ton of twists and the story kept me guessing (even though this is my second time reading it!).
The Bishop explored some thought-provoking issues and made me think deeper about things, which I really liked. I think this might be my favorite book, so far, in my reread of the series. The first time I read this series, I would have said The Knight or The Queen was my favorite book, but this second time around, I just really loved this story because of how intricate it was!
All in all, another fantastic thriller. I loved this book and definitely recommend it if you enjoy books that keep you guessing. I think the back of the book describes this book perfectly -- "The Bishop is a gripping, adrenaline-laced story for readers who are tired of timid thrillers. Strap on your seat belt and get ready for a wild ride."

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
