My thoughts:
Persecuted was a good read. While this type of storyline isn't a favorite of mine, I still thought it was great! I haven't seen the movie from which the book is a novelization, so everything was new to me and I didn't know how things would end.
I liked how Persecuted was not a predictable read. There were a lot of things in the story that were surprising and some things that were so sad!
The characters were nice, although I don't have a favorite. I liked how there were flashbacks of John's past in the book, so you got to see what he went through and how he changed. I do wish there would have been a little more character development just so I could have connected more with them.
All in all, I really liked this book and can't wait to read Robin Parrish's next book.

ReplyDeleteThe book is a carbon copy of what is happening in the world today. We have the 2nd book in the series in the church library but not this one. Thanks for a wonderful review, I can't wait to read it.
