About the book:
FORGOTTEN PASTN

After her broken engagement, Nicki Jackson hoped her move to Cedar Key would give her a fresh start—instead she quickly learns someone's out to destroy her. Are the attacks tied to her mother's recently reopened murder case…or to the nightmares Nicki's beginning to suspect are actually hidden memories? With the threats against her escalating, former soldier Tyler Brant vows to keep Nicki safe. He refuses to lose the woman who's swiftly becoming more than a childhood crush. But when danger circles closer, is Nicki's traumatic past better left forgotten…or are her memories the key to something far more sinister?

My thoughts:

Buried Memories was a great read for me during this reading slump I've been in. I was able to read it slowly and yet not lose interest in the story. I really liked Carol J. Post's writing style and the characters were very nice.

I enjoyed the mystery and did find some moments suspenseful. I also did not guess who the villain/s was and was somewhat surprised by the reveal.

All in all, a good read and I definitely recommend it. Buried Memories was a very good Love Inspired Suspense novel!

    1. To get over a reading slump I just take a break and watch Netflix. Then when I'm ready to read again I pick a book from my TBR that sounds really good.

  5. Happy Six Year Blogoversary Melanie! I get over a reading slump by changing genres and maybe mixing it up between a novella and a longer book.

  8. When I'm in a reading slump, I take a break. I may go a week or two without reading anything. Then I pick up a short book, a novella or something like a love inspired, and work my way through it.
