About the book:
Series: Rock Harbor Series

Paperback: 368 pages

Publisher: Thomas Nelson (July 11, 2017)

Dana has already learned that love isn’t safe . . . but could it be different in Rock Harbor?

As a 911 dispatcher, Dana Newell takes pride in being calm in tough circumstances. In addition to her emotionally-charged career, she’s faced enough emergencies in her own life. She recently escaped her abusive fiancĂ© to move to tranquil Rock Harbor where she hopes life will be more peaceful.

But the idyllic town hides more danger and secrets than it first appeared. Dana is continually drawn to her new friend Boone, who has scars inside and out. Then she answers a call at her job only to hear a friend’s desperate screams on the other end. Soon the pain in her past collides with the mysteries of her new home—and threatens to keep her from the future she’s always wanted.

My thoughts:

I am so happy to have another Rock Harbor novel! I loved getting to "see" Bree (and her family) and learn how things are in Rock Harbor. However, you do not need to read the previous books in the series in order to enjoy Beneath Copper Falls.

The story grabbed my attention from the first chapter on and even though I was super busy when reading this, I couldn't wait to pick the story back up whenever I could.

The mystery/suspense was awesome. I was able to guess the killer pretty early on, but that didn't stop me from staying intrigued and even second-guessing myself. ;)

All in all, I loved Beneath Copper Falls and definitely recommend it! I hope Coble writes more Rock Harbor novels.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
