Monthly Reflections ~ March 2018

Monthly Reflections, where we take the time to reflect on the previous month.

How I Did With My March Goals:
  • Read 1 Nonfiction
  • Read the remaining 8 books from my Winter TBR Pile.
  • Increase my NetGalley score by at least 2%.
I didn't finish any nonfiction books (although I did read about half of one).
I was only able to read 1 more book from my Winter TBR Pile, so I ended the challenge with 5 of the 12 books off my TBR.
I increased my NetGalley score by 3% -- from 53% to 56% currently.

Favorite Read of the Month:
It's very hard to choose a favorite read for March. I absolutely loved several of these...yeah, I can't pick a favorite.

Some Books I Added to My TBR Pile In March:

-Get NetGalley ratio to 65%
  • Currently at 56% (Increased 3%)
-Finish at least 12 nonfiction books (hopefully 1 each month).
  •  0/12
-Finish at least 5 series.
  •  2/5
-Finish at least 20 Love Inspired books.
  • 6/20
Finished 1 out of the 10 books in March.

My Goals for April:
  • Finish 2 nonfiction
  • Get Netgalley score to 60% (might be a little too high of a goal, but I'm going to try!)
  • Finish at least 1 series

Now it's your turn! What did you accomplish in March, what do you hope to accomplish in April?

  1. Is it easy to get on to Netgalley? Do you have to have a blog?
I’m reviewing for several publishing houses and authors. Ivthink I looked into it at one time.
I have read A Most Noble Heir and Across the Blue and Fugitive Spy and I would like to read about five more from your lists. I need more hours in the day! Thanks for the post.

    1. I signed up years ago, but I remember it being easy to join. I don't think you have to have a blog. There are lots of good books on there, so if you decide to join I'm sure you will discover even more great reads. :)

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
