Happy New Year! 2020 was quite a year, wasn't it? While there were terrible, sad, and disappointing things that happened, I also think that 2020 was a year that had some great moments and pushed me to do/try things that I don't know if I would have otherwise - for instance, I cut my own hair and found that I actually love how it turned out. Very surprised by that! :)

Regarding reading/books... I'm somewhat surprised that my reading was less, but I think that is because I was so distracted by things going on that I couldn't actually read much. I went through an intense reading slump, which I think I'm finally over! :)

  • My first read in 2020 was On Wings of Devotion by Roseanna M. White
  • My last read in 2020 was Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter
I'm planning on my first read of 2021 to be Tidewater Bride by Laura Frantz. I will be starting it shortly after posting this.

My goals for 2021 will be posted on the 12th for Top Ten Tuesday

Monthly Reflections, where we take the time to reflect on the previous month.

  1. Tidewater Bride will be my first read of the year as well. Got a little behind in December with reading all the books I planned to, but will get back into the swing of things soon!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
