Books I Finished Recently:

(there's a deal on the Kindle version of The Deadly Shallows at the moment - check price) :D

What I'm Currently Reading:
About the book:

Come home to Ivy Hill, where friendship endures, romance triumphs,
and mysteries are revealed in this eagerly anticipated conclusion. . . .

Spring is in the air . . . and change is too. Mercy Grove has lost her girls' school and is resigned to life as a spinster, especially as the man she admires is out of reach. She contemplates leaving Ivy Cottage to become a governess--a decision with consequences she never imagined.

Meanwhile, her friend Jane Bell is facing a difficult decision of her own. Should she accept Gabriel Locke even if it means giving up her inn and destining another man to a childless marriage?

When a secretive new dressmaker arrives in the village, Mercy, Jane, and the other ladies of Ivy Hill attempt to befriend her, but they soon suspect she isn't who she claims to be.

Together, the women of Ivy Hill look forward to one wedding, but surprises lie in store and dearly held dreams may yet come true.

Fiction

About the book:
This could be the case of their careers . . . if they can survive long enough to solve it.
Two homicides have rocked the city of Houston. Are they the work of a serial killer, or is a copycat trying to get away with mur-der?

That is the question facing Special Agent Bethany Sanchez, who is eager to begin her assignment in violent crime but anxious about meeting her new partner. Special Agent Thatcher Graves once arrested her brother, and he has a reputa-tion for being a maverick. Plus, their investigative styles couldn’t be more opposite: he operates on instinct; she goes by the book.

When hot leads soon fizzle out, their differences threaten to leave them deadlocked. But an attempt on their lives turns up the heat, bringing them closer together, while new evidence suggests a shocking twist to the case.

Nonfiction:

I'm almost done with this book. It has been a great read!

About the book:

A Joyful Life Starts on the Inside

Hi, I’m Cambria!

For years, I struggled with my self-image and how to make my dual pursuits of faith and fitness fit together. Maybe you can relate. Everything changed one day when I decided I was tired of looking in the mirror and started looking solely toward God.

What He showed me is that true strength—physical, emotional, and spiritual—starts from the inside out. When you’re staying connected to God, you’ll find that eating well and exercising regularly will be so much easier. Your faith, food choices, and fitness will all just naturally flow together as part of your healthy and whole life.

I want to share what I’ve learned with you, motivate you, and encourage you with delicious recipes to nourish your body, creative workouts to keep you moving, and wisdom from God’s Word to inspire and shape you into the woman He’s creating you to be.

Let’s grow strong from the inside out!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
