About the movie:
When David Smallbone's successful music company collapses, he moves his family from Australia to the United States in search of a brighter future. With nothing more than their six children, their suitcases, and their love of music, David (for KING + COUNTRY's Joel Smallbone) and his pregnant wife Helen (Daisy Betts) set out to rebuild their lives from the ground up. Based on a remarkable true story, a mum's faith stands against all odds; and inspires her husband and children to hold onto theirs.

My thoughts:

Unsung Hero was such a good movie! I knew when I saw the trailer that I wanted to watch it, and it did not disappoint. The acting was outstanding! I felt like I was watching real people go through struggles and overcome difficulties. I loved how Joel Smallbone starred in this movie and helped tell his family's story. All of the actors were amazing, though, and I loved Candace Cameron Bure's character - she made me laugh. ;)
I thought Unsung Hero had a powerful storyline of family, the importance of that bond, and miracles. I loved the prominent role of prayer and thanks. Nothing is impossible with God and it was amazing to see what miracles happened in their lives.
All in all, Unsung Hero was a powerful movie and I recommend it if you like heartwarming movies with great acting. The music was really good, as well...I have added a couple songs from this movie to my playlist. This movie is definitely worth the watch and it is in theaters starting April 26th!
