Photobucket2011 End of Year Book Survey:

I took this survey and thought it was so much fun! Some of the questions were hard, others were easy.

2012 reading challenges:

I'm so excited that tomorrow I'll finally be able to start the 2012 reading challenges I signed up for (and I signed up for a LOT).

Isn't that a lot of challenges??

I also listed my top ten favorite books I read in 2011 (it was really tough to just choose ten...)

And lastly, I posted all 12 Pearls of Christmas posts - what did you think of those?

My goal for January is to read at least 12 books - including one "Just for fun" book, reread a favorite of mine, and 1-2 eBooks. Do you think I can do this??

Now it's your turn... how did you do in December? Did you meet any goals? What do you hope to read in January?

  1. Wow you've been busy and seems like you will be just as busy this year! I have never participated in nor really even heard of these types of book challenges and I was wondering if you could explain in a little more detail how to enter them. Thanks!

  2. Abbi,

I know! I read a lot last month...

Each reading challenge's rules are different, but for the majority, you choose the level you would like to challenge yourself to read in 2012. For instance, the eBook challenge - I chose the CD level (to read 10 eBooks in 2012).

If you have a blog, you create a post stating the level you are choosing, and if you don't have a blog, you just leave a comment stating the level.

I hope that helps - you can find the links to the challenges here:

    Thanks for commenting,

    Thanks for the quick reply!
Another question-After you complete the goal is there anything you have to do?

  4. You're welcome! I try to reply back asap (when asked a question).

Sometimes the blog hosting the giveaway will have a follow-up post for you to state your progress, but other than that, I don't think so... Each challenge is different, though, so who knows?

Do you plan on joining any challenges?

  5. Yeah I couple of the challenges you had listed looked interesting. I had already planned on trying to read all the books I own so the Mount TBR Reading Challenge was right up my alley! I'm also planning on joining the E-book one an the historical Fiction one.
