Monthly Reflections, where we take the time to reflect on the previous month.
My goal for January was...
✓Finish 2 or more of my "Random Reads"
✓Finish a total of 12 books
Books read:
Favorite Read This Month:
I gave five books five stars, but I have two favorite reads (not counting my reread of Corridor): Like Moonlight At Low Tide & Playing By Heart. Such great reads!
My thoughts on January:
Well, I cannot believe that I finished 31 books this month! Several of the books were short reads, but it still makes me so happy to have completed a goal I had hoped to accomplish someday (to read, on average, a book a day). I also was able to finish my September 2014 and October 2014 Random Reads. January was a great month for me reading-wise. :)
Looking ahead:
My goal for February:
There is no way I will be able to read as many books next month, so I'm going to keep my goals simple.
Read 12 books
Finish 2 "Random Reads" books
Finish another book from my "2015 TBR Pile Challenge Reading List!"
If you want to do your own Monthly Reflections, feel free to grab the button and post about it on your blog, then leave a comment with the URL - otherwise, please share your thoughts in a comment!
Now it's your turn! What did you accomplish in January, what do you hope to accomplish in February?
My Random Read selection for February is... Injustice For All by Robin Caroll
A federal judge lies bleeding on his office floor, betrayed by a most unlikely source—people who helped him bring criminals to justice. Now, why would someone working for the FBI need to disappear after witnessing this crime?
When Remington Wyatt sees her godfather’s murder, she recognizes the killers and knows it’s only a matter of time before they come to silence her. She must do the only thing possible to stay alive . . . run.
FBI agent Rafe Baxter is serious about his career, and solving a cold case involving a federal judge’s death puts him in line for the promotion he so desires. But the case leads him to the small town of Hopewell, Louisiana, where some secrets seem inextricably hidden deep within the bayou.
Injustice for All explores what happens when everything a person believes in is utterly destroyed. Who can you trust?
