My thoughts:

This study Bible is very easy to read and helps the reader understand the text better. I loved the book introductions, as I found them interesting and helpful in giving a summary of what the following book is about. The verse-by-verse notes are really great, but I do wish there were notes on every verse.

I liked the layout and how the "Study the Book" and "Notes" are interspersed throughout the chapters. The text is dark enough to be able to easily read and the pages are not too thin (I have the hardcover edition). Another thing that I found to be a nice addition is the "Table of Monies, Weights and, Measures" in the back. I think it is great to have a quick little chart to figure out what things equal in today's current values. It also has a decent concordance and a few maps.

All in all, the Know the Word Study Bible is one I can see myself using and learning from. I really like it and recommend it if you are looking for a nice Study Bible.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
