More from Shirley

Can you find love again on a couples matching site? Yes. And no. In my first book, Second Chances, I share how I found love and married second time on a matching site. Seventeen months after our marriage, my husband died. I didn’t think I’d ever love again, but after time, explored the same website only to be crushed with disappointment. My dreams were destroyed. As a result, I learned to fully surrender to God and be contented in whatever state I was in—married or single. This book continues my story and ends in joy! Find out what happens in this second book. God blesses us Beyond Second Chances. Read my story and be encouraged.

Author Interview:

Where do you like to write?

I try to carry a small notebook in my purse whenever I go anywhere. At home, it’s usually at my computer that faces my front yard. I can see what’s going on outside (although my rhododendron needs to be trimmed—it’s hiding my view!).

Do you have a favorite Bible verse?

It’s really hard to choose one favorite, but as a child, I memorized Proverbs 3:5-6:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

What are some nonfiction books you found impactful?

The Bible
The Five Love Languages, Gary Chapman
Streams in the Desert, L.B. Cowman
The Attributes of God, A.W. Tozer
My God is True!, Paul D. Wolfe
Great Days with the Great Lives, Charles R Swindoll

Do you have a favorite song and/or movie?

“Bring Me Home” from Les Miserables

Thank you so much for being here! Is there anything else you’d like to tell readers and where can we find you on the web?

I absolutely love hearing from my readers. It makes me happy to know I’ve touched someone’s emotions or drawn them closer to God with my words. My blog is there, as well as my books. Be sure to watch the book trailer! Here’s my website: www.shirleymozena.com

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
