My thoughts:

Texas Baby Pursuit was one of those stories that just breaks your heart. It starts out with the hero's daughter calling him that someone kidnapped the baby and you could just feel the shock and emotion in that call. As the story continued, you find out that there is a whole lot more to the story than just the kidnapping and there were several twists.

I didn't care for the romance that much. Mainly because it just felt a bit too rushed at times and I just didn't love it. The ending was intense and I liked how everything got wrapped up nicely.

All in all, Texas Baby Pursuit was a good read and I liked it.

Review: The Yellow Packard by Ace Collins

My thoughts:

Looking for a good mystery? The Yellow Packard might be the read for you. It was such an interesting story and so different from what I was expecting. I loved the time in which it was set and the characters were realistic.

I found the mystery to be a real whodunit...I did have a few suspicions early on, but wasn't 100% sure about them until the reveal. I liked how everything wasn't solved easily and it felt like a real case.

All in all, The Yellow Packard was really enjoyable and I recommend it to fans of mystery novels.

Review: Hide and Seek (Sgt. Major Eric Moyer #4) by Jeff Struecker, Alton Gansky

About the book:

My thoughts:

Hide and Seek is the 4th book in its series and even though I haven't read any of the previous books, I was able to follow the story line easily. I got invested into the characters and felt like I was right there with them.

I found it interesting that this book had TWO prologues. I've never seen that before, but it was fun. I liked all of the characters and felt for the wife at times. I recommend not reading the blurb before you read the story, as I feel it gives away a big spoiler.


All in all, I recommend this to fans of military thrillers!
