My thoughts:
I feel like I'm repeating myself in these re-reviews, but The King was another fantastic thriller and I loved it even more the second time -- I think because I read it right after finishing The Queen, so I was able to appreciate the greatness of this story more.
I loved the characters, I loved the journey the characters took, and I loved the ending. The story was very intense and made me cringe during certain scenes, so if you are a fan of thrillers, I think you'll really enjoy this book. The ending to The King was crazy and makes me want to pick up Checkmate ASAP! I'll be starting it as soon as I finish one other book...So excited to see how the "chess" series ends.
*I had received a review copy of this book earlier and I've already reviewed it. This second review was not required, I just wanted to share my thoughts on my reread. As always, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.*

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
