2017 Goals & Resolutions!

I can't believe it is already 2017!
2016 flew by (especially those last couple months). I'm late with getting this post together, but better late than never, right?

2017 Goals & Resolutions:

  • Read at least 150 books
This doesn't sound like much compared to what I read last year (281), but it's already the 5th and I haven't even finished a book yet. Been in a really bad slump that I thought I'd already be over by now, but not yet. It's a real struggle to read at all. :/
  • Get my NetGalley ratio to 80% or higher
  • Read at least 75 books from my 2017 TBR shelf on Goodreads
  • Finish at least 1 Nonfiction book every month.
Regarding this blog, I hope I can keep posting and get back to posting more consistently, but at the moment I've been dealing with some computer issues and also have just been busy. :/ Still, I hope you guys will all stick around and keep reading this blog, even if my posting is sporadic. ;p

Those are my goals/resolutions for 2017, please share yours below! Thanks for stopping by. :)

    1. Thanks, Holly!! I'm going to really try and make this the year I reach 80% on NetGalley...even though it sounds impossible, I just need to quick requesting new NetGalley books. haha. ;) Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words!

  2. Melanie, I ran across this post when I was looking up the keyword "NetGalley" in my email and this post was in an email from you in January (yes, I still have emails in my inbox from Jan...hmm, that should be another goal!:D). I just had to comment because I have the same problem and goal! I've tried and have actually gotten my 80% badge twice and then *POOF*, it goes away! Haha! It's hard not to request those NetGalley's when you're just dying to read them. Anyways, good luck! Hope you're doing better than me. Rachel :)

    1. Thanks, Rachel!! I've never reached 80%, but I'm slowly making my way there. :)) It is definitely tough to not request new books that sound good, but I think I'm getting *slightly* better at only requesting the ones I'm sure I really want to read. Good luck on your goals, too! Thanks again!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
