Weekend Wrap-Up + Kindle Deals Spotlight

Weekend Wrap-up is where I share what I read this past week, am currently reading, and my reading plans for the coming week.

Feel free to join along and post your own Weekend Wrap-up on your blog/site (if you do, please leave the link in a comment so I can stop by) or, in a comment, share what you've read this past week. :)

Books I Finished The Past Two Weeks:

I completely missed posting my Weekend Wrap-Up last week (oops!), so I've listed the books I finished in the last two weeks. :)

What I'm Currently Reading:

I'm very surprised by how much I am enjoying A Cast of Stones...it is really good so far. :))

What I'll Be Reading Next:

I am beyond excited to start this book! The story sounds right up my alley (it has a Pinkerton agent!) and I'm sure I will fly through the book. :))

That's what I'm reading. What are your current reads? Please share below!

Kindle Deal Spotlight!
(Be sure to double-check the price if you are thinking of buying, as prices can change at any time.)

I have three (technically four) Kindle deals to spotlight. All are $1.99 as of posting (check price!).

I've read one Wiersbe book and enjoyed it. I think these bundles are great, because you get a lot of books in one.

I've heard lovely things about this book and cannot believe I haven't read it. I have a print copy, but I'm thinking of picking this up in eBook format since it is on sale...not sure yet.

I think today is the first time I've seen this book, but it sounds very good so I wanted to share about it. The blurb says it is a "radical retelling of the prodigal son story." Have any of you guys read it? Should I add it to my TBR?

  1. I am currently reading Suzanne Woods Fisher's "Phoebe's Light". It's really good so far, I'm completely engaged with the characters! :) I think I to have a copy of Be Still My Soul, have heard great things about it, but haven't read it yet. LOL!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
