It's that time of year again. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and deals, deals, DEALS. I don't know about you, but I have a love/hate with that part of this time of year. I love the deals, but hate that it is all at the same time. Almost too many deals. LOL.
I thought I would put together a little list of things that I think would be great gifts to hopefully help if you are looking for ideas. :)
All links to Amazon will be affiliate links, which just means that if you choose to buy anything through my link, I will earn a small percentage of the purchase. ♡ Here's the link to my 2021 Gift Ideas on Amazon.

Gift cards~

I'm kind of curious what your opinion is on giving gift cards as gifts? I personally love receiving them...I get to pick out something I don't already own and have been wanting. It's like the perfect gift to me. lol
❄ What are your thoughts?
Blue Light Blocking Glasses~

I love these blue light blocking glasses. I feel like they actually work, compared to other glasses I've tried, and yet they barely change the color of what you are looking at. I love to use them especially at night if I'm watching a movie or video on my tablet. Super comfortable to wear.

I have this bookmark. I did have to retie the tassel after several months, but I love the saying and the price was relatively cheap. They have several bookmarks with different cute sayings...this was my favorite, although the "Not Meow, I'm Reading" one with a cat was also adorable. :)

I love this bag. It is amazing to be able to securely carry around your phone, keys, etc., and know that it is safely in the bag. I like how it has multiple pockets and yet is pretty slim and lightweight. Especially great for long walks and shopping trips.
Winter Hat and Scarf Set~

This is a soft and warm set. Stretchy material and comfortable. I love how the infinity scarf stays around your neck and you don't have to worry about it hooking anything. Definitely recommend.
Silicone Heat Resistant Travel Mat Pouch~

I highly recommend this silicone mat for anyone who uses hot hair tools. I love how you can put your hair curler in the pouch when unplugged/done using and it makes it safer for the cool down/storage. They have other more "fun" colors, as well.
Kindle Fire or Paperwhite~

I have much older versions of the Kindle Fire and Kindle Paperwhite. I'm thinking I got them in 2013 for the Fire and 2014 for my Paperwhite. But I love them. I definitely use my Fire more often for reading, but that is just a preference of mine. My mom prefers the Paperwhite, so it really is different for each person.
Music~
Music, like books, are definitely subjective to the person it's being gifted to; but, here are a few of my personal favorite albums. :)
Books!
Lastly, here are some 2021 releases that I really enjoyed and think would be great gifts, if the reader enjoys that specific genre.
- Beyond the Tides by Liz Johnson (contemporary romance)
- Provenance by Carla Laureano (contemporary romance)
- Let It Be Me (book 2) by Becky Wade (contemporary romance)
- Bookshop by the Sea by Denise Hunter (contemporary romance)
- Chasing Shadows by Lynn Austin (WWII historical)
- When Twilight Breaks by Sarah Sundin (WWII historical)
- All Through the Night by Tara Johnson (Civil War historical)
- Tidewater Bride by Laura Frantz (historical romance)
- Dreams of Savannah by Roseanna M. White (Civil War historical)
- Unknown Threat by Lynn H. Blackburn (romantic suspense)
Fun list. I thought about doing something like this as well, but haven't yet, and not sure if I will get around to it or not ;) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOo, yes! Light blocking glasses - that's an excellent idea! I do have to agree with you though. All the deals at once? It's a lot. Guess we should learn to prep better. ;) I also think this tends to "commercialize" the season WAY too much. But hey, we get through. Thanks so much for visiting! :)
