My thoughts:
I just finished watching Sons of Thunder on Pure Flix. This was a show that I probably wouldn't have watched from the title/picture alone, but I'm so glad I watched it. I found the main character to be an intriguing person. I liked how his character grew throughout the season and you could tell he was trying to change his ways.
I liked how throughout the series there was one big storyline and the finale was great. It did leave me wondering what was going to happen next in Simon's life. I'm hoping that the spin-off will tell a little more of his story.
All in all, I really enjoyed this show. It does contain some fighting, but nothing that I personally had a problem with. I'm looking forward to watching the spin-off when it starts streaming on January 13th.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
