I didn't have anything scheduled for today, so... I thought I'd do some Monday Memes!
What I read last week:
Review to be posted tomorrow! :)
What I'm currently reading:
I'm only sorta reading Ellies' Haven, I had to stop for some book tours. It's really good and I hope to finish it soon!
What I plan on reading soon:
I'm super excited to read both of these books!!
This week’s musing asks…
Did you do any reading in lieu of watching the football game, yesterday, or were you foregoing reading to watch the game? If you read a book (or books) what did you choose?
I'm not a fan of football, so I didn't even watch the game. I finished reading Honor Redeemed and I started An Amish Family Reunion - which I hope to finish by tomorrow. :)
Oohh I really want to read Princess in Peril-let me know how it it! I'm also not a fan of football so I too spent my Sunday afternoon reading!
ReplyDeleteI'll be posting a review when I'm done... I love "Love Inspired Suspense" books and I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy this book! :)
DeleteHope you had a great day. :)
ReplyDeleteMy Monday Memes post
Thanks, Kell! :)
Deletewell, I did watch it..but only because the battery on my Nook died and I did not have a 'real' book with me.
ReplyDeleteThat would be horrible, not being able to continue reading... especially if it was a suspense book! :O
DeleteThanks for commenting! :)
Yeah I spent my entire football experience also reading a book, believe me some people could not believe I wasn't watching the game. Here's my MM.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!

DeleteGreat choice! I much prefer reading over watching football, but I definitely cheated by checking the scores. Those books sound good, I'll have to check them out! :)

Thanks - I was told who won, but I really didn't care... lol! :)
DeleteI am not a football fan either, so I also read, but later I asked hubby who won.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think reading is way more fun than watching football. :)
DeleteCan't wait to read "Ellie's Haven"! I LOVED "Livvie's Song". :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard a lot of good things about Livvie's Song, but I haven't read it. Ellie's Haven is great so far! Hope you have the chance to read it! :)
DeleteI'd rather read than watch TV!! I finished Book 2 of Denise Hunter's New Height Series and am now on Book 3....loving them. Am going back to some of her older books 'cause I love her writing.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read those books... will have to look into them!
DeleteThanks for commenting! :)
I didn't watch the Super Bowl either. Instead I chose to spend time talking about books and writing with my love. And then I read myself to sleep. (I'm currently reading Heather Burch's 'Halflings.')
ReplyDeleteI've heard a lot about "Halflings" - what do you think of it so far?
DeleteI really like the story so far. There have been some lovey-romancey parts that made me roll my eyes a bit at the characters, but once I tried thinking about things from the perspective of being a 17 year old teen girl/guy it just made me giggle because I thought some of the same things when I was that age too.
DeleteI have Honor Redeemed on my schedule for this week too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!!
Thanks! I hope you like Honor Redeemed! :)
DeleteI didn't watch the game either. I went bowling instead.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's homework requires reading out loud to me. Come see what she and I read together. I also got some other great books finished on my own time.
Thanks for visiting and commenting - bowling is so much fun! I like the bowling game on the Wii! :)
Delete:-) Reading is always fun!!! I posted our fam fav commercial, if you want to see one small great part of the game: http://burgandyice.blogspot.com/2012/02/what-musing.html

DeleteI didn't watch the game either. I was reading Dee Henderson's book The Truth Seeker :)
ReplyDeleteI love that series! I just heard that she is going to have a new book in October!! I look forward to reading it! :)
DeleteI heard that! I'm not sure how I missed the O'Malley series boat years ago, but I'm excited for the new series too :)
DeleteI didn't know it was going to be a series... now I'm even MORE excited about it! I love series! :)
Deletei have been waiting so long to read another Dee Henderson novel. She's a fabulous writer. October? That's eons away yet! i have each one of her novels.
DeleteMarianne,
DeleteIt has been a long time since her last book - I'm really looking forward to hearing what her new one is about.
Did you read the extra O'Malley story on Dee's website? About JENNIFER O’MALLEY? http://www.deehenderson.com/jennifer1.html
