I haven't done a "Top Ten Tuesday" post in a LONG time, so I wanted to do one this week. Little did I know it's freebie week and I get to pick whatever topic I like! I decided on "Books I Want to Reread". I don't reread a lot of books, but there are some I'd like to read again. :)
Here are my top ten:
Yes! I love Ted Dekker!
ReplyDeleteI have read most of his books. I own "Adam" but haven't read it yet.
I love a lot of Ted Dekker's books too! :) I don't remember "Adam" that well, so that's one reason I want to reread it. :)
DeleteThe covers for the 2 Dekker novels you mentioned look fierce! I haven't read anything by him, but now I know where to start :-)
ReplyDeleteMost of the books I've read by Ted Dekker have been great! BoneMan's Daughters is one of my favorites. :)
DeleteGlad you included Lisa Bergren! She's wonderful. :)
ReplyDeleteI had to include a River of Time book (I mean, that is one of my favorite series!). I would have included the whole series (because I do want to reread the entire series), but decided to limit it to only one. :)
DeleteI used to love to re-read books! Ever since I started my blog I haven't had the time since I'm keeping up with books given for reviews and all the new books to be read, but I really like to go back and re-read and learn even more the 2nd or more times through. River of Time series would be my choice too.
ReplyDeleteClean Teen Fiction
Clean Adult Fiction
There are a couple books I've reread many times (i.e. "Abomination" by Colleen Coble and "Skin" by Ted Dekker), but I don't reread books that much (too many new books to read!) :)
DeleteLooks like you have some good books on your re-read list. I would also like to re-read Danger in the Shadows and Tributary(actually the whole series for both!). I have a couple of the other ones you want to re-read on my Kindle to read for the first time. Pawn and Boneman's Daughters especially. :)
ReplyDeleteSame here! I want to reread both of those series, but decided to only list one book from each here. :)
DeleteThe Pawn is a really intense read (seriously, that first chapter is SO creepy!), but I love thrillers. :)
BoneMan's Daughters is probably one of my favorites of Ted Dekker's books - I hope you enjoy it! :)
Those covers look creepy! But I've read some of Ted Dekkers books (ones he co-wrote) and they're pretty good. Here's my TTT!
ReplyDeleteI love creepy books/covers. :) Thanks for stopping by - going to go visit your blog. :)
DeleteOuh, interesting! I've heard about Ted Dekker. Nope,*grinning* I'm afraid they look pretty scary from where I'm standing. But i like the idea of top 10 books! Okay, I can't help it! Do you mind?
ReplyDeleteI rarely re-read too but I absolutely loved the followings (no order)
1. The Doctor's Lady by Jody Hedlund
2. My Stubborn Heart by Becky Wade
3. So Long Insecurity by Beth Moore
4. Fatal Judgement by Irene Hannon
5. A Love Surrendered by Julie Lessman
6. Short-Straw Bride by Karen Witemeyer
7. Mere Christianity by C.S Lewis
8. Just Between You and Me by Jenny B. Jones
9. Save the Date by Jenny B. Jones
10. Head in The Cloud by Karen W.
and many more!!
Love to read. *Sigh* Thanks, Melanie!
:-)
No, I don't mind. :) Great list! I've read a few of those books and they were great! Thanks for sharing! :)
DeleteI haven't read any of these, but I'll check some of them out. Thanks for featuring them.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT.
