About the book:
It's a summer of change for Jennifer O'Malley.
The busy physician has a pediatrics practice in Dallas, Texas, and meeting and falling in love with surgeon Tom Peterson is adding a rich layer to her life. She's sorting out how to introduce Tom to her family--she's the youngest of seven--and thinking about marriage.
She's falling in love with Jesus too, and knows God is good. But that faith is about to be tested, and in a way she didn't expect. The results will soon transform her entire family.

My thoughts:
I read Dee Henderson's O'Malley series years ago and loved them. I wasn't sure what to expect from this prequel novella about Jennifer (since I didn't care all that much for Henderson's newer novel, Full Disclosure), but I ended up loving it! The story was so great and gripping.
The characters were fantastic and I couldn't help but feel for both Jennifer and Tom. Even though this book is a novella, it didn't feel like that short of a story and it held my attention throughout.
The ending was very good and makes me want to reread the O'Malley series as soon as I can. I definitely recommend this book!
*I received an eBook copy of this book from the publisher for my review. I was not required to give a positive review, only my honest opinion - which I've done. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.*
