  1. Well "The Captive Maiden" by Melanie Dickerson came in the mail today which is a total surprise because I didn't know I had won an ARC copy, but then there's "Rules of Murder" by Julianna Deering that I need to have read by next Friday for the book club at church! So I say all that because I don't know which one I want to read first! Right now "The Captive Maiden" is winning! Which one do you think I should do?

    1. I haven't read either of those books yet (though I have a copy of Rules of Murder on my shelf and The Captive Maiden on pre-order), but I vote for The Captive Maiden as the one to read next. I love Melanie Dickerson's novels and am excited to read that book soon. :D Thanks for commenting!

  2. Peril looks very intriguing! You and I must like the same type of books! I think the Courting Campaign looks like it is also a great read!

  3. So glad you are enjoying 'Glittering' Melanie; that one is a keeper. Oh, my! Ladies, if you enjoy 30's era fun, you'll both love "Rules Of Murder." SO good.

    Congrats, winners!

  4. I loved the first book in the Grand Tour Series and really need to read the next two. I am so glad you are enjoying "Glittering Promises!" I also absolutely LOVED Jen Turano's book "A Change of Fortune" and I definitely want to read the others. She also has a mini novella out called "Gentlemen of Her Dreams" that was very enjoyable as well!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
