About the book:
Previously published under the title Boy Nobody
They needed the perfect assassin.

Boy Nobody is the perennial new kid in school, the one few notice and nobody thinks much about. He shows up in a new high school in a new town under a new name, makes a few friends and doesn't stay long. Just long enough for someone to die -- of "natural causes." Mission accomplished, Boy Nobody disappears, moving on to the next target.

But when The Program assigns him to the mayor of New York City, things change. Somewhere deep inside, Boy Nobody is somebody: the kid he once was; the teen who wants normal things, like a real home and a girlfriend; a young man who wants out. And who just might want those things badly enough to sabotage The Program's mission.

In this action-packed series debut, author Allen Zadoff pens a page-turning thriller that is as thought-provoking as it is gripping, introducing an utterly original and unforgettable antihero.

My thoughts:

I Am The Weapon started off really good, but once the romance aspect came into the story, I started to like the book less and less. I was hoping for a good YA thriller and, I don't know why, but I just wasn't a fan of this romance.

The story itself was intriguing and I really liked it for the most part. I did not like the language (which was a lot | the a-, b-, d-, h-, and f-words were used as were other crude/offensive words).  I also didn't care for the sexual content that was in this YA book. Just not my style in literature.

Overall, an interesting read. A few things in I Am The Weapon didn't seem realistic, but it was still entertaining. I don't recommend it because of the language/sexual content, but if that stuff doesn't bother you, then you might enjoy the book.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
