"Waiting On" Wednesday: Beowulf: Explosives Detection Dog by Ronie Kendig

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event that spotlights upcoming releases that we're
eagerly anticipating.

 This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

Beowulf: Explosives Detection Dog by Ronie Kendig
Barbour Publishing / ISBN# 978-1616266394
Expected Publication Date: January 2014
Find on: AmazonGoodreads

About the book:

Beowulf—a hulky, brindle-coated bullmastiff—is the only “boy” for Timbrel Hogan. And she has a history to remind her why. But when Timbrel, a handler at A Breed Apart, embarks on a mission to detect WMDs in Afghanistan, she reunites with Tony “Candyman” VanAllen and her no-other-man philosophy is challenged. While tension mounts between Timbrel and Tony, the team comes under fire after Beowulf gets a “hit.” When tragedy threatens Tony’s career and Timbrel’s courage, they must maneuver through an intricate plot and a mission like no other. . . .

Why I want to read this book:

Ever since reading Trinity (book one) I've been itching to read Timbrel's story and, after recently reading Talon (book two), I want to read it even more now! I can't wait to see what happens between Candyman and Timbrel! :)

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
