Bout of Books 8.0 ~ Sign-up & Goals

Bout of Books
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 19th and runs through Sunday, August 25th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 8.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

I was on the fence about signing up for Bout of Books this time around, but since a lot of my blogging friends (Abbi, Brooke, Crystal, Caitlyn) are participating, I just had to sign up too!

My Goal:
Read/finish at least 5 books.

Books to read:
I really don't know what books I'll be reading during this read-a-thon, but I have a huge stack of TBR books that I'm hoping to make a dent in, so I'd like to read at least five of the following books next week:

I'll be posting updates regularly on Twitter and will do a wrap-up post once the read-a-thon ends.

Are you participating in this read-a-thon? If so, please leave a comment below with the link to your post - I'd love to stop by. :) Thanks for visiting my blog!

  4. I do not have a blog. I read and review books. I have a stack of books to read. Right now I am reading Sharlene MacLaren's series of books. Read Livvie and almost finished with Ellie's Haven. You get so blessed by her books.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
