Monthly Reflections ~ May 2018

Monthly Reflections, where we take the time to reflect on the previous month.

How I Did With My May Goals:
  • Read at least 10 Netgalley books
  • Finish at least 1 Nonfiction (finally!)
  • Read at least 2 more books from my Spring TBR
-I read 12 NetGalley books
-I read 9 (!) nonfiction books
-I only read 1 more book from my Spring TBR (Last Chance Wife) [aff link]

Books Read In May:

I read a ton last month. At least 20 of those books were 100-199 pages, so they were quick reads. I doubt I will read the same amount in June, as I'm trying to read more 200+ page books.

Favorite Read of the Month:

Surprisingly my favorite read of the month was The Christmas Blessing (aff link) by Melody Carlson.

Some Books I Added to My TBR Pile In May:

(covers link to Amazon, should you want to check out the books)[aff links]

-Get NetGalley ratio to 65%
  • Currently at 59%, up 3% from last month!
-Finish at least 12 nonfiction books (hopefully 1 each month).
  •  9/12
-Finish at least 5 series.
  •  3/5
-Finish at least 20 Love Inspired books.
  • 18/20
5/10 done

My Goals for June:
    • Read the last 5 books in my Spring TBR Pile Challenge
    • Get NetGalley ratio to 60%

Now it's your turn! What did you accomplish in May, what do you hope to accomplish in June?

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
