Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’m Worried I Might Not Love as Much the Second Time Around (March 12)

March 12: Books I’m Worried I Might Not Love as Much the Second Time Around

~~

(Posting a day late)

I love this topic. I am currently someone who loves to reread books and my favorite books I've reread multiple times...still, there are some books that I am a little nervous to and probably won't reread, as I might not enjoy them as much this time. My reading tastes have changed and I've changed in the years since I first read them, but in a couple cases it is because of how the rest of the series unfolded.

(in no particular order)

  1. I loved Julie's books back in the day, but am honestly not sure I'd love them as much today. And while Krista's were so entertaining they, like many other YA novels, probably wouldn't be quite as intriguing to me today; but in the case of these, it's more because I have kind of "grown" out of them. :) Thanks so much for visiting my website, Melanie!!

  3. The Baxter series is also one that I am worried about rereading and then not enjoying anymore.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
