Book Blogger Hop: 10/14-10/17

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly event hosted by crazy-for-books.com

This weeks question is - “What is your favorite spooky book (i.e. mystery/suspense, thriller, ghost story, etc.)?”

My answer: My favorite genre to read is suspense/mystery/thriller, so this is sort of tough for me to answer; however, I think two of my favorite "spooky" books are:

Comes a HorsemanSkinSkin by Ted Dekker - I've read/listened to this book about 3+ times! It's one of my favorites by Ted Dekker!

Comes A Horseman by Robert Liparulo - Just thinking about this book, I want to reread it so it's fresh in my mind. This is definitely a creepy/spooky book - I really enjoyed it though.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this weekend's question. Please leave a comment. I'm currently hosting THREE fabulous giveaways (you can enter here, here, and here), so go enter while you can!

  1. Comes a Horseman looks so incredibly scary!! I love it!! I think I'm going to add it to my list for this Halloween reading!

  2. Ha! Yay! I loved Skin, I love Ted Dekker! He is one of my Fav. Authors!
Have you read Thr3e? That's my fav by him, very suspenseful! It would make a great movie.

  3. Jac - 'Comes a Horseman' is VERY scary from what I remember!

Wall-To-Wall books - Yes! I've read 'Thr3e' by Ted Dekker. By the way, it was made into a movie and I've seen that many times! Here's a link - http://www.christianbook.com/thr3e/pd/419921?item_code=WW&netp_id=471079&event=ESRCN&view=details

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
