Weekend Wrap-Up & Book Blogger Hop (June 21st)

Weekend Wrap-up is where I share what I read this past week, am currently reading, and hope to read this coming week, and (when applicable) the current giveaways/giveaway winners. Occasionally I'll post some other stuff as well.

Feel free to join along and post your own Weekend Wrap-up on your blog/site (if you do, please leave the link in a comment so I can stop by) or, in a comment, share what you've accomplished (reading-wise) this past week. :)

 What I've read this week:

I didn't read as much as I had hoped to this week...not a lot of reading time! :(

What I'm currently reading:

When you are writing your reviews, do you write them as you are reading or wait until you are completely done with the book?

My answer:

I typically wait until I'm completely done with the book, but there are times I'll write part while I'm still reading and then polish it up once I'm done.

There you have it, that is what I'm reading and my answer to this week's question! What about you?

  1. I don't take notes for my reviews and write everything after finishing the book. Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. Wow on how many books you read at once. I can't read more than one at at time. :)

I write as I am reading and polish it up just as you mentioned.

Stop by for my full answer if you like.

    Happy Hopping!!

  3. I wish I took notes, sometimes I forget to add a thought or two.

  4. I just started Melody Carlson's book last night and downloaded the audiobook from Lis Wiehl. I always finish the novel first before reviewing, but I will work out thoughts in my head while I am reading. Thinking about what I will write in my review sometimes helps to focus on the themes, plot devices, characters, etc.

  5. I get too confused if I read more than two at a time. I should probably take notes as I read, though. That's a good idea. Love RC Sproul! Might have to get that book.

  6. I like to write my review as I read because gives me idea of what a reader might ask ~

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
