"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event that spotlights upcoming releases that we're
eagerly anticipating.

 This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

A Woman of Fortune (Texas Gold #1) by Kellie Coates Gilbert

Expected Publication Date: June 3, 2014
Find on: AmazonGoodreads

About the book:

You never know what you're really made of until you lose everything.

Texas socialite Claire Massey is living the dream--designer clothes, luxury cars, stunning homes. But everything comes crashing down when her charming cattle broker husband is arrested for fraud. Suddenly she finds herself facing attorneys, a media frenzy, and a trail of broken hearts. Betrayed and humiliated, Claire must face incredible odds to save her family--and discover a life worth living.

Author Kellie Coates Gilbert delivers a story both poignant and emotionally gripping that celebrates the kind of fortune that lasts.

Why I want to read this book:

I love the cover for this book and it sounds like a good read.

What's your "Waiting On" Wednesday selection this week?

  1. I like that cover! This one is a new one for me, but it sounds good.
    My WoW

  2. Oh cool! Another Christian blog ;) I'll be checking out your blog in the future for some great reads!

  3. Kellie wowed me with Mother of Pearl, so I eagerly await this book too, Melanie.

I enjoy discovering new authors, so Wish by Jake Smith is one that I'm also looking forward to. It sounds like a moving story, hopefully not too sad, so I'm glad I get to review it soon.

  4. I love the cover of this one! The story doesn't really sound like my type but I hope you get the chance to read it and like it!

  5. Melanie, try reading Kellie's first book that I mentioned previously. It was one of my favorites. Here's my review: http://booksmusicandlife.blogspot.com/2013/11/review-mother-of-pearl.html

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
